As a way to motivate our staff, we held the first ever employee award ceremony on the 31st January 2023 at The Bay Restaurant, a continental cuisine restaurant in Lilongwe. The event saw several employees recognized and awarded for their hard work that contributed to the company’s success for the year 2022.
The colorful event hosted by one of our newest additions to the projects department, Alinafe Phiri, had nine employees from the company receive awards for different categories. Speaking on the sidelines of the event, CEO & Technical Director for HD Plus Creations, Gift “Sukez” Sukali said, “The company decided to organize the dinner gala and awards as a way of appreciating our employees and their contributions to our successes over the past year.”
Also commenting on the same, HD Plus Creations Board Chairperson, Stevie Sukali encouraged all employees to embrace hardworking spirit if they are to be recognized by their company.
The top awarded employee came out as Sam Kabambe, our projects manager who managed to snag the much coveted Employee of the Year award as well as the early bird award. In his remarks, Kabambe expressed his gratefulness for the awards and his satisfaction in knowing that his hard work is recognized. After awarding their top employees the event pivoted to celebrate the CEO’s 30th birthday which saw an attendance of some special guests and a few celebrities.
