On 25 October 2020, light of youth creative organization in partnership HD plus Creation organized a skill building workshop with leaders from different youth organizations. The workshop was free admission only the attendees had to provide evidence of their youth grouping.

The registrations attracted up to 263 people but only 60 people were selected because of limited spaces. The workshop had speakers MR Gift Sukez Sukali, CEO of HD plus Creations, Mr Hastings Golosi, Creative Director of HD Plus creations and Fumbani Phiri writer and producer. The workshop took place at crown hotel, Lilongwe area 3.

Mr Gift Sukez Sukali tackled videography, creativity and partnerships topics while Mr Hastings Golosi tackled business and entrepreneurship and lastly Fumbani Phiri concentrated on talent discovery and acting. The 5 hour long workshop started at 1pm and finished at 5pm.

One of the organizers Braxio Mathias said he is looking forward to having more of these workshops with HD plus Creations. Company’s operations director Steve Sukali also added to say the company takes social responsibility seriously and are looking forward to empower more youths on knowledge and business. 

We were privileged to have our creative Director Feature on DSTV Africa Day, MR Hastings Golosi featured as a local film maker, script writer and story teller.

In his remarks after release of the shot clip Golosi said, as HD plus Creations we are hoping to open more doors internationally and for all film makers locally.

The shot clip started showing on DSTV and will air for the whole month of June.

Lilongwe-based private multimedia agency, HD Plus Creations, has sponsored one of the country’s hip-hop musicians known as Kalawe to help him fulfill his mission of empowering young people in the country.Kalawe has embarked on a project in which he will be spending K1 million monthly on six youngsters with exceptional business plans and innovations, as a way of empowering them to achieve their goals.“We decided to sponsor Kalawe because we are very impressed with his project. In the country we have a lot of youth that are unemployed but innovative.

They lack support in order to achieve their goals. So, after noticing the initiative which Kalawe is doing, we decided to support him so that he can help more young people in the country to become economically empowered,” said HD Plus Creations Creative Director, Hastings GolosiHe added that the project Kalawe is implementing is in line with the initiative which HD Plus Creations carrying out to empower the youth in the country.“We hope that through Kalawe’s project, many youths will be economically empowered.

Through the same, we look forward to seeing Malawi having a lot of youths with something to do to sustain their financial capacity,” he explained.In his remarks, Kalawe whose full name is Francis Kalawe, applauded HD Plus Creations for supporting his project, saying the assistance is timely.“HD Plus Creations is our platinum sponsor and we appreciate its timely support towards our project of creating youthful millionaires in Malawi,” Kalawe said.

The National Registration Bureau through the Malawi Government and the Ministry of Homeland Security and partnerships from UNDP, Irish Aid, UK Aid, Norwegian Embassy, USAID, European Union and other organizations has rolled out a national wide campaign to mobilize and encourage youths who have turned 16 years to register for their National ID. The campaign rolled out on Monday 9th March at a launch that took place at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC), in Lilongwe.

The campaign has engaged artists like Piksy, Esther Chitheka and Suffix in producing jingles and music videos which have been produced with the purpose of catching the attention of young people with a well-crafted creative and informative message. The videos also contain cameo appearances by Wikise and Kell Kay. The campaign has also seen the production of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) by senior public figures like Senior Chief Kachindamoto and Wambali Mkandawire. Among other things the launch also saw the screening of a video demonstrating the security features and linkages of the Malawi National ID.

HD Plus Creations, the media company contracted to produce the three campaign videos, jingle and radio drama (chindime ndi Phungwaku) are also managing the whole campaign in corporation with various private and community media houses who have been engaged in broadcasting the messages. Managing Director, Gift Sukez Sukali expressed that HD Plus Creations is looking forward to a successful campaign, ‘we want the messages to reach out to as many youths as possible, across all corners of the country’ added Sukali

Senior Public Relations Officer for Nation Registration Bureau Noman Fulatira revealed that they are targeting more youths to register with the previous statistics showing that ten million people that registered for their National IDs, mostly comprise of adults.
